Ospalla In The Raw is a home run business bringing raw, organic, local, vegan & vegetarian food to a new level, taking cooked and compulsive foods and turning them into raw living foods.

Our Services

We provide a catering service for parties, functions, retreats, seminars and at-home raw food coaching, we offer cakes and puddings to order and are about to launch a unique take-away service in Sussex. We also run workshops for those wishing to learn about raw cuisine.

Our History

I was introduced to raw food by my mentor, John Bayley of Cashew Catering, whilst working for his festival catering company. Intrigued by the health benefits, especially weight-loss, I went on a six week course during which time I followed a raw food diet.

The benefits of this experience exceeded my expectations, my physical well-being improved noticeably, my hair, skin and nails looked better than they had in a long time, I lost weight and found myself feeling clear and fresh in my mind and liberated on an emotional level.

After the six-week course I wanted to pursue my interest in raw food and nutrition further and I went to study naturopathic nutrition with the Nutritional Healing Foundation. At the same time I was learning my craft working at Brighton’s leading raw restaurant, Aloka, working with John and starting to provide private catering services. All of this allowed me to explore my creativity in the kitchen.

Aware of my passion and dedication to culinary excellence, John Bayley encouraged me to set up my own business. I started off selling moreish Kale chips at the local health food store and my yoga studio as well as cakes to order for birthdays and anniversaries. The business quickly expanded to include all the services I offer now.

The benefits of raw foods and what we can introduce to our diets to better our lives are immeasurable. Let food be thy medicine!!! I use Organic ingredients where possible, but always local produce.

As our lives are becoming more polluted through lifestyle and environment I am delighted to be in a position to introduce people to a conscious way of eating.
